Before Akeneo, AutoQuotes relied on a homegrown data management approach that the company had outgrown as its business scaled. Key challenges included limited self-service capabilities, difficulty enforcing data governance, and heavy manual effort required to manage enterprise-scale updates, all while maintaining a 15-day maximum update turnaround. AutoQuotes manages a catalog of over 1,000,000 products across 5,000 product families and 10,000+ attributes.

  • 71% decline in cost per enriched product SKU following the Akeneo launch, reflecting sustained reduction in enrichment costs over time

  • Throughput gains sustained despite a 30%+ reduction in team size, with the team completing updates at rates exceeding fully-staffed historical performance
