See product support in action with Aidrian.
We built Aidrian, an AI product support agent, for the 2026 Stibo Systems Hackathon. It connects trusted product information in Stibo STEP with the systems and knowledge a support team needs to resolve an issue.
Follow an example from troubleshooting to a suitable replacement, with an operator approving the next action.
Selected as one of four finalists from 20 entries.

Your PIM or MDM holds valuable product information. Managed agents help teams use it in the systems where they work.
An agent uses approved tools to retrieve information, complete a defined task, check the result, and request human input when needed. That could mean preparing a support response, helping a sales rep find the right product, or checking a supplier submission.
We can build these workflows for Stibo Systems, Salsify, and Akeneo, as well as other PIM and MDM platforms. Each engagement is scoped around your systems, available interfaces, and business rules.
Sitation combines product data expertise, systems integration, and ongoing operations to make these workflows practical and maintainable.
Keep your product platform as the source of truth.
Your PIM or MDM remains the governed source of product information. We connect agents to that data and the surrounding systems.
Connect the surrounding systems
Combine product data with approved context from your CRM, ERP, DAM, knowledge base, service desk, and commerce platforms.
Use the right integration approach
Work with available APIs, events, and supported connectors. Define which system owns each record and where an agent may read, propose, or write changes.
Preserve your governance
Respect access controls, attribute definitions, and approval workflows. Integration scope depends on each platform’s capabilities and your operating requirements.
Support the teams that depend on product data.
Start with a workflow that has a clear owner and a measurable outcome. Expand as you establish what works.
Customer support
Help support teams answer product questions using approved specifications, compatibility information, manuals, and service context. Include sources and route uncertain answers to a specialist.
Service desk & knowledgeSales enablement
Help sales teams find suitable products, compare attributes, and prepare product-specific responses or proposals. Combine governed product data with approved CRM and account context.
CRM & sales workflowsSupplier onboarding
Extract and normalize incoming product data. Propose attribute mappings and identify missing information before records enter your product platform.
Supplier systems & PIMProduct enrichment
Prepare descriptions, classifications, and attributes from approved source material. Keep recommendations reviewable before they reach your catalog.
PIM, MDM & DAMCommerce and channel readiness
Check product records against channel requirements, prepare transformations, and flag gaps before approved information moves to commerce platforms and marketplaces.
Commerce & syndicationData quality and stewardship
Check completeness and business rules, identify potential duplicates, and gather evidence for data stewards. Route exceptions to the team responsible for resolution.
MDM & operationsHelp support teams answer detailed product questions.
A question about fit, compatibility, or replacement parts can require information from several systems.
An agent can retrieve the relevant product record, consult approved documentation, and prepare a response with references. It can also identify missing information and give a support specialist the context needed to continue.
- Retrieve current information from the product source of truth.
- Combine it with manuals, knowledge articles, and permitted case context.
- Present the source material and escalate uncertain matches.
Define access, approvals, and accountability.
We design the workflow around your policies, the sensitivity of each action, and the people responsible for the result.
- Task-specific permissionsDefine which systems an agent can access, what it may change, and where approval is required.
- Human reviewRoute ambiguous records and higher-impact actions to a person, with the context needed for a decision.
- Traceable workInclude source references, proposed changes, and execution logs so reviewers can understand the result.
- Operational ownershipAgree on monitoring, escalation, and pause or recovery procedures as part of the operating model.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to replace our PIM or MDM?
No. The approach is system-agnostic and starts with your existing environment. Stibo Systems, Salsify, Akeneo, or another governed product platform can remain the source of truth. We assess its APIs, permissions, and workflows before defining the integration.
Can agents work with our CRM, ERP, or support platform?
Yes, where the required interfaces and permissions are available. We scope which records an agent needs, how information moves between systems, and which actions it can perform. We do not assume that every platform has a ready-made connector.
What makes this a managed service?
The engagement includes an operating model for monitoring, exception handling, integration maintenance, and evaluation of changes. We can also host the agent in Sitation’s hybrid cloud environment. Specific responsibilities, hosting, and support arrangements are agreed during scoping.
How are changes and customer-facing responses reviewed?
Approval requirements are defined with your team. We can start with read-only retrieval and proposed responses or changes for human review. Any broader actions are evaluated against your policies and the risk of the workflow.
What is a good first use case?
Look for repeatable work with accessible source data, a known owner, and a measurable outcome. Product support questions, sales information requests, and supplier data checks are useful candidates.
How does this fit into Agentic AI Transformation?
Managed agents are one way to put an AI strategy into operation. A broader transformation effort identifies opportunities across teams; this offering focuses on connecting product and master data to the workflows that use it.
