Solution Advisor

The Solutions Advisor will work alongside our sales team, with current and prospective PIM/MDM and data governance clients. Your work will span master data domains, industries, and architectural patterns. You will serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of solutions, building effective demonstrations, participating in Proof of Concept exercises and contributing to opportunities with your technical expertise. 

You will be a trusted advisor asking specific business and technical questions to uncover a client’s requirements and align Sitation’s product offerings and services to their needs. The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills, enjoy consultative selling, and have experience architecting and solutioning complex PIM/MDM and data governance enterprise solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to plan, prepare and execute strategic solutions for our existing and prospective client base
  • Fully analyze client requirements to best support them and provide optimally customized solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during the sales process, connecting the technology, design and final solution to meet client’s business needs
  • Collaborate with project teams to modify proposals and SOWs based on assessment
  • Translate business and technical requirements into written proposals, quote/configurations, diagrams, and master service agreements
  • Oversee, create and deliver powerful technical presentations and demonstrations that clearly explain our solutions
  • Participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises
  • Manage technical aspects of SOW contracts
  • Aid the smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation
  • Document standards and update knowledge base with collateral to help accelerate customers through the sales cycle
  • Collaborate across departments and functions
  • Understand the voice of the customer and share customer feedback and industry trends with our implementation teams
  • Become a thought leader in PIM/MDM, communicating the differentiation of products and services that will give our customers the best solution

Requirements

  • 5+ year experience with B2B enterprise software and services presales, managing multiple projects and deadlines across time zones and teams
  • Experience in data management, data integration, data quality, and/or data governance domains
  • Experience in enterprise architecture and data modeling
  • Deep experience with Akeneo, Salsify or Riversand prefered
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong relationship building, persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field)

Compensation

  • This position is eligible for benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision 
  • Eligible for performance-based bonuses
  • 100% Remote (Approx. 20% travel as needed)
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
